IronVault Privacy Policy

This policy explains what IronVault stores, what it does not collect, and how you can export or delete your local workout data.

Effective date: May 14, 2026 Last updated: May 14, 2026

1. Introduction

IronVault is a privacy-first strength training and workout logging app. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app stores, how that data is handled, and how you can export or delete it.

By using IronVault, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

2. Developer and privacy contact

IronVault is independently developed.
Privacy contact: ironvault.support@gmail.com

3. Data stored by the app

IronVault stores the following information only on your device:

  • Workout plans, exercises, sessions, sets, reps, weights, and notes
  • Working-weight targets, personal records, and progress history
  • App preferences, including units and warm-up settings
  • Locally generated export files when you choose to export your data

This information is stored in a local SQLite database in the app's private storage area.

4. Data not collected or transmitted by IronVault

IronVault does not collect, transmit, sell, or share user data with the developer, advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or cloud services.

IronVault does not collect or access name, email address, phone number, account details, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, financial information, advertising identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, Health Connect data, clinical records, or medical records from another service.

5. Permissions

IronVault does not request sensitive runtime permissions. The current Android release does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, phone, calendar, body sensors, Health Connect, or external storage permissions.

6. Local storage and device backups

Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export or share it. The app does not operate a backend server.

Your operating system or device account provider may back up app data if device backup is enabled. Those backups are controlled by you, your device settings, and your platform provider. IronVault has no access to those backups.

7. User-initiated export

You can export your workout data as a JSON file from Settings. Export is initiated by you and uses your device's share sheet. Once you export or share that file, the receiving app or service is responsible for how it handles the file.

8. Support emails and direct contact

If you contact IronVault support by email, your email address and any information you choose to include in the message will be received by the email provider and used only to respond to your request, manage support, protect legal rights, and comply with legal obligations. Do not send medical records, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in support emails.

Support emails are separate from the local app database. Deleting local app data does not automatically delete emails you have sent to support. You may request deletion of support correspondence where applicable law allows.

9. Delete and correct your data

You can view, correct, export, and delete your data inside the app. You can also delete local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage. IronVault does not keep a server copy and cannot recover deleted local data.

10. Children

IronVault is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the app without permission from a parent or legal guardian.

11. Security

IronVault relies on operating-system app sandboxing and your device security. Keep your device updated and use a device screen lock. Because the app stores data locally, anyone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view your workout data.

No method of electronic storage is completely secure. IronVault cannot guarantee protection from device compromise, malware, unauthorized physical access, operating-system vulnerabilities, or actions by other apps or services outside IronVault's control.

12. Fitness data and medical disclaimer

IronVault is a workout diary and planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation plans, emergency support, or professional training advice.

Exercise can involve risk of injury. Consult a qualified healthcare or fitness professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, disability, are pregnant or postpartum, or experience pain, dizziness, or unusual discomfort.

Workout and exercise information may be considered fitness information in some app-store or legal contexts. IronVault stores this information locally and does not transmit it to the developer or a server unless you choose to export or share it.

13. Platform providers and third parties

Google Play, your operating system, device manufacturer, device backup provider, email provider, and any app you choose in the share sheet may process data under their own terms and privacy policies. IronVault does not control those third parties.

14. Changes

If IronVault later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, subscriptions, Health Connect, or any server-based feature, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play disclosures must be updated before release.
